Bench Inspectors

Location: Miramar

Pay Rate: $18/hour without "P" license, $19/hour with "P" license

Temp-to-Hire

Accomplishes inspections as assigned by the Team Leader. Documents inspections on records, reports and forms in accordance with Inspection Procedures Manual. Audits completed paperwork for accuracy, completeness, and compliance to work instructions and customer specifications. Processes and submits reports on malfunctions/defects and suspected unapproved parts to the Team Leader for communication to the Manager of Quality Control-Chief Inspector. Must have 1 year turbine engine experience and/or training and a Powerplant License, or possess qualifications for testing. (Must have "P" License within 90 days of hire). Must be able to interpret engine manuals and other technical data. Must have good working knowledge of jet engine operation in order to determine proper repairs. Must have basic math skills. Must be able to interpret diagrams and /or blueprints. Must be able to use a variety of precision measuring equipment. Must be computer literate. Must be able to determine and implement the most practical and economical method of inspecting tools, gauges, fixtures and parts utilizing A&P experience.

Conventional and CNC Machinists

 

Individual must have 10+ years experience on conventional and CNC equipment, his/her own tools, be able to do own setups, and know speeds and feeds. Must have programming experience in Master Cam. Working knowledge of HAAS vertical milling, Bridgeport Romi EZ path lathe, and Bridgeport vertical milling EZ track a plus.

Final Assembly Inspectors

Location: Miramar

Pay Rate: $18/hour withour "P" license, $19/hour with "P" license

Responsible for the accomplishment of inspections. All work performed in compliance with company policies, manufacturer's maintenance manuals, and Company Inspection Procedures Manual. Must have 1 year turbine engine experience and/or training. Must be able to interpret engine manuals and other technical data. Must have good working knowledge of jet engine operation in order to determine proper repairs. Must have basic math skills. Must be able to interpret diagrams and /or blueprints. Must be able to use a variety of precision measuring equipment. Must be computer literate. Must have a Powerplant License, or possess qualifications for testing. (Must have "P" License within 90 days if hire) Must be able to determine and implement the most practical and economical method of inspecting tools, gauges, fixtures and parts utilizing A&P experience. Documents inspections on records, reports and forms in accordance with Inspection Procedures Manual. Processes and submits reports on malfunctions/defects and suspected unapproved parts. Must be able to read and interpret complex blueprints. Must maintain accurate paperwork and records. Must maintain high standard of housekeeping in work area. Must be able to use shop mathematics, including decimals and trigonometry. Must be able to comprehend, interpret and follow directions, both written and oral. Must follow required safety procedures.

NDT

Location: El Cajon

 

To perform inspection of parts using NDT techniques (which may include X-ray, ultrasonic, magnetic particle techniques, eddy current) and the interpretation of results. Train employees of lesser skill. Current certification in Penetrant, Eddy Current, and Ultrasonic required.

Operations & Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate: $47K

Operate, monitor, repair and perform maintenance on power generating plant equipment, instrumentation and controls, as well as ancillary systems. The applicant will be responsible for safe, efficient operation of the facility while maintaining environmental compliance. He or she will start-up, operate, shut down and secure equipment under normal and emergency conditions, from the control room or in the field. Logs and records must be maintained as required to record complete operating conditions for the facility and to report any irregularities, repairs or downtime. The candidate must control, monitor and evaluate plant production output, efficiency and related variables (e.g. heat rate, cost/unit of production, system demands and capabilities given various circumstances) and the overall effectiveness of operation practices and procedures. Approximately 20% of the time may include travel for training, seminars,, and project support. The position involves interaction with all levels of employees through senior management and frequent external contact with vendors and contractors. Unscheduled overtime may be required. Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, minimum 2 years experience utilizing a Distributed Control System, and a valid CA driver's license with a good driving record.

Senior Design Engineer

Direct Placement

Location: El Cajon

Pay Rate: $65-75K

Immediate Need!

Prepares documentation for design engineering of FAA PMA applications for gas turbine engine components. Programs and collects data using PC-DMIS, performs analysis using design software, and develops solid models and drawings. Trains and advises design engineers. Manages projects, and works independently on more complex projects. Requires a bachelors degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering, with five to seven years prior reverse engineering experience specific to gas turbine component repair. Skills and knowledge used for this position will include: CMM programming using PC-DMIS, analysis using design software, ASME Y 14.5 and reverse engineering techniques, excellent computer and programming knowledge, good understanding of jet engine components, ProE and CAD software and procedures, and knowledge of standard manufacturing processes for gas turbine engine components, though repair experience is a plus. ProE and experience in gas turbine engine component manufacturing are musts.

Senior Mechanical Engineer

Direct Placement

Location: Carlsbad

Pay Rate: $100K, with a potential bonus of $25-30K

Immediate Need!

Provides the technical knowledge and skills necessary to solve more complex technical problems with minimum direction for a Carlsbad power plant. Provides good quality engineering reports and/or drawings and specifications. Performs engineering evaluations to determine operational efficiencies as well as identify areas where plant operation can be refined or improved. Oversees plant monitoring programs such as high energy pipe inspection program and recommends prudent inspection frequency based on plant operation and the system being monitored. Provides technical engineering support to other departments. Must be capable of leading small teams and groups. An engineering bachelor's degree with an emphasis on mechanical, electrical, chemical, or system controls is required, as is five years minimum working as a plant engineer, preferably in power generation. Must have knowledge of testing procedures such as non-destructive equivalent (NDE) and familiarity with Weld QAQC systems.

Trilingual Quality Engineer

Location: Otay Mesa

Pay Rate: $53-60K

Performs specialized, complex, and involved assignments of a quality engineering nature pertaining to the development, implementation and maintenance of Quality Assurance activities. Establishes and maintains cost-effective arrangements for the assurance of product quality, and compliance with EU, federal and state medical device regulations. Person will be transported via company vehicle from the Otay Mesa facility to the Tijuana Mexico facility. BA or BS or Business degree in science, engineering or health-related discipline Minimum one year of experience in quality assurance/engineering within the device manufacturing industry. Working experience and knowledge of FDA regulations related to medical device manufacturing. Must be trilingual in Japanese/English/Spanish. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work on extremely complex problems. Self-directed and self-starter. Formulate and present reports, statistical data on inspections and tests performed. Use judgment to solve problems related with work area. Demonstrated computer ability: proficiency in Microsoft products
