Susan Bleicher, President

With over 25 years of human resource experience and 12 years in the staffing industry, Susan brings the leadership, energy, and experience to position her agency into one of the strongest staffing forces in the San Diego area.

Susan is a member of American Staffing Association, California Staffing Professionals, International Personnel Management Association, CA Chamber of Commerce, SD Regional Chamber of Commerce, Rotary International, and San Diego Society for Human Resource Management where she served two terms as a board member. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Personnel Management. Susan's successful track record in staffing and business has made her a strong believer in building respectful, honest, lasting relationships. It is this belief and spirit that sets AtWork apart.

Gabriela Carbajal-Duarte, Recruiter

Gabriela is responsible for interviewing and all aspects of the recruiting process. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration from San Diego State University and a Master's Degree in Public Policy Administration with emphasis in Human Resources from California State University Long Beach.

Gabriela listens carefully to clients and employees' priorities and is very skilled in successfully matching the right employee in terms of skill set and company's culture. She has a knack for identifying hard to find talent in a timely manner.

Ben Labadie, Staffing Assistant

Ben Labadie will be your first point of contact when you come into our office for skill testing and an interview. His friendly and professional demeanor will put you at ease. Ben is responsible for scheduling interviews, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed, and setting up applicants on job appropriate skill testing. He checks references on all applicants and enters their information in our system. Ben also searches various job boards for qualified applicants.

Grant researches companies throughout San Diego County that could benefit from using AtWork as their staffing partner. During his fact finding meeting with potential clients, Grant ascertains what their immediate and long-range goals are and develops a formula for a successful employee/company culture fit. He interviews candidates at all levels and places employees based on skill level, previous work history and/or educational background, and company expectations. Grant listens attentively to employers and employees to ensure complete satisfaction. Relationships and referrals are the keys to Grant’s success.
