How will you help me find work?
We can help in lots of ways. We can open doors with employers. AtWork has a wide range of established clients that use us as their recruitment partner. After our testing process and your interview, we will discuss any openings that we have that may match your qualifications and interests. If there is not something available at that moment, we will put your information into our database system and continue to shop opportunities as we meet our clients' employment needs. In the meantime, we may check to see if you are interested in taking advantage of short term requests from some of our clients, providing you with immediate income options and giving you additional experience as well as visibility to an employer. We help by being your advocate and by opening doors, particularly to those employers that typically do not advertise and/or prefer to work through us.

How do I begin the process of working through you?
It's easy. Just send us your resume to let us know your background and interests. As soon as we anticipate a position that you could be a candidate for, we'll ask you to fill out our application (one is available online), and we'll ask you to come in for testing and an interview (expect that to take about 1.5 - 2 hours of time). Once we have all the needed information, we will be an advocate for you with our clients, coordinating interviews as requested or sending you on short term assignments if you like as they are available.

Is there ever a charge for your services?
Absolutely not! We will never charge you but you can be certain that we will continue to be your advocate and provide not only employment opportunities but advice and counsel as well regarding your skills, needed training, as well as resume and interview preparation .

Do you give me any tests and, if so, what kind?
It depends. We test both your general education as it relates to your background and career interests. We also will test any skills that may be required for jobs that you are seeking, such as computer, accounting, manual dexterity, and/or writing skills. We'll will do also do a background check, criminal check and drug screen. Our testing helps you identify areas that you are strong in and areas you may need to brush up on.

How long will it take before I start working?
Our goal is to get you working the first day you are available. However, in reality, it depends upon your skills and our client's needs.
